Ana Maia

Ana Maia was born in Porto, Portugal, but now lives and works in Brussels. Architect and designer she established her brand, Mini Archi, in 2013.
Specialising in contemporary architecture, Ana Maia has collaborated with many Belgian companies. Meshing architecture, art and design influences, inspired by worlds of Mies van der Rohe and Alvaro Siza, Ana Maia, wishes to sharpen the aesthethic sense of young people.

Ana Maia Studio is now dedicated to the creative direction, design and tailor made furniture, of exclusive projects for private clients and companies.

The “Mini Box” is a game built in natural wood.

It consists of one main box closed by two sliding panels and two secondary boxes that are stored in the main box. The coloured elements are also stored in the main box. By playing with infinite combinations, this system of modular construction encourage imagination and stimulates children to learn the basics of architecture.
