Bruno Munari
Bruno Munari (1907–1998) was one of Italy’s most influential artists, designers and inventors, whose work explored the relationship between creativity, design and learning. A key figure in modernism and concrete art, Munari worked across multiple disciplines, including graphic design, industrial design, sculpture, cinema, literature and visual experimentation.
Throughout his career, Munari developed a unique approach to creativity, using play, movement and sensory exploration as tools for discovery and education. His research into children’s learning led to the creation of innovative games, books and objects that encouraged imagination, curiosity and independent thinking.
Recognised internationally as a pioneer of creative education and design, Bruno Munari’s work continues to inspire generations of designers, artists and children.
