What can you create when a simple geometric module has no fixed way of being assembled?

Aconà Biconbì is an open-ended construction object that invites you to explore form, balance, structure, and endless combinations. Made from simple circular modules with a central hole, each piece can be folded and freely connected to the others, allowing you to build increasingly complex three-dimensional structures.

The result changes completely depending on the number of modules used and the way they are arranged. There is no single correct form: build, take apart, rearrange, and start again to discover new shapes and structures. With every new configuration, the object becomes something different.

Aconà Biconbì can be explored as a construction game, a sculptural object, or simply as an invitation to experiment with three-dimensional form. Its open-ended nature makes it equally engaging for curious children and adults interested in design and creative exploration.

Originally conceived as a sculptural work by Bruno Munari based on his research into multiples, Aconà Biconbì was first produced as a game by Danese in 1961. Over the years, its distinctive modular system has inspired designers and artists around the world, who have reinterpreted and reinvented it through different materials and forms.
