Multi-view Puzzle - Farming
Step into the countryside through Fredun Shapur’s distinctive graphic style. Originally created in 1964, this puzzle brings together the colours, shapes and everyday scenes of farm life in a playful composition filled with animals, crops and agricultural activity.
A tractor pulling a loaded trailer takes centre stage, while different farm animals appear throughout the composition, including cows, horses and pigs. Geometric fields are crossed by rows of crops and fruit trees, with red apples adding bright accents to the landscape. Farmers and other small details of rural life complete the scene, creating a lively illustration that invites closer observation.
But this is not a conventional puzzle. Its distinctive Multi-View format allows the pieces to be assembled from any of the four sides, making it possible for several people to build the image at the same time, each working from a different direction. The result is a shared experience of collaboration and discovery, with no single starting point.
Fredun Shapur’s original design, first produced in 1964, continues to feel remarkably contemporary, combining stylised animals, agricultural scenes and geometric forms with a distinctive palette of orange, red, olive green, brown and cream. This current edition is published by Éditions Piqpoq.
