Multi-view Puzzle - Seaside

Step into a lively seaside scene through Fredun Shapur’s distinctive graphic style. Originally created in 1964, this puzzle captures the atmosphere of life by the sea through boats, maritime activities and people enjoying the waterfront, all brought together in a bold geometric composition.

A sailing boat takes centre stage, surrounded by a variety of nautical details. A lighthouse rises above the scene, while people fish, sail and spend time by the water. A life buoy, a small boat, fishing equipment and other seaside elements complete the composition, creating a playful snapshot of life along the coast.

But this is not a conventional puzzle. Its distinctive Multi-View format allows the pieces to be assembled from any of the four sides, making it possible for several people to build the image at the same time, each working from a different direction. The result is a shared experience of collaboration and discovery, with no single starting point.

Fredun Shapur’s original design, first created in 1964, continues to feel remarkably contemporary, combining stylised maritime scenes, geometric forms and a striking palette of deep blue, turquoise, orange, yellow and cream. This current edition is published by Éditions Piqpoq.
