Discover Amsterdam through its urban history
Explore the evolution of Amsterdam through this 540-piece puzzle featuring the General Expansion Plan (Algemeen Uitbreidingsplan, or AUP), an urban plan drawn up in 1934 by architect Cornelis van Eesteren.
Developed in response to the city's rapid population growth since the late 19th century, the AUP shaped Amsterdam's expansion and future development. It was based on the earlier Zuid Plan, created in 1915 by renowned architect Hendrik Petrus Berlage.
A fascinating piece of urban planning, architecture and history, this puzzle offers a unique way to discover how Amsterdam grew and transformed.
