A Spanish engraver, cartographer and calligrapher, Reinoso y Torija combined his knowledge of drawing and cartography to create detailed representations of Spanish cities and territories.

Published in 1882, this historic city map offers a fascinating view of Toledo and reflects the precision and visual character of 19th-century cartography. Reinoso y Torija later directed the records section of the Geographic Institute of Madrid, where he produced important maps, including a large and detailed map of Madrid composed of 17 sheets.
