Puzzle Valencia
Discover Valencia through a remarkable 1704 city map
Explore Valencia as it appeared at the beginning of the 18th century through this remarkable historic map. In 1704, architect, mathematician, philosopher and cosmographer Tomás Vicente Tosca undertook a detailed survey of the city, which was then experiencing a particularly prosperous period and preparing for further urban growth.
Tosca spent four years completing the large-scale map, measuring 285 × 210 cm in its original format. Drawn in ink and delicately coloured with watercolour and pencil, it combines cartographic precision with the visual character of an exceptional historical document.
This 540-piece puzzle reproduces Tosca’s detailed map of Valencia, inviting you to discover the city’s historic layout while exploring the intricate details of 18th-century cartography.
